About

A software company that came out of running operations, not out of a lecture hall.

Prospra IQ Enterprises (Pty) Ltd was registered in Limpopo, South Africa in 2026, to build the kind of software its founder kept needing and could not find for sale.

Why we exist

Most business software is written by people who have never done the job.

It shows. Screens that need eleven clicks for the thing you do four hundred times a day. Compliance treated as a checkbox. Reports that answer questions nobody asked.

Prospra IQ started at the other end. Years of farming, mechanical work, logistics and running small businesses, and watching good operations held together by a spreadsheet and one person's memory.

We build the system that person would have designed, if they had the time.

Principles

How we decide things.

These are not values on a wall. They are the rules we apply when a decision is genuinely difficult, and they occasionally cost us work.

We will tell you not to build it

If a spreadsheet, an off-the-shelf package or a process change solves your problem better than custom software, that is the advice you will get. A project that should not exist is bad for both of us.

Your data is yours

You get full export at any time, in an open format. No hostage-taking, no exit fees, no proprietary lock-in on the data your business depends on.

Boring technology, deliberately

We choose tools that are well understood over tools that are new and interesting. Someone else has to be able to work on your system long after we are gone.

We talk to the people using it

Ask only the managers and you get software the managers like and the staff work around. We spend time at the counter and in the yard.

Istvan Schuch — founder, and the person who will actually build your system.

Who you deal with

One person, start to finish.

You will not be sold to by one team and handed to another. The person on the discovery call is the person writing the code, and the person you phone when something breaks at 4pm on a Friday.

That is on purpose. It caps how many jobs run at once, and it means nothing gets lost when work changes hands, because it does not change hands. If we take your work on, it is because we can give it proper attention.

The background here is hands-on before it is technical: farming, mechanical work, logistics and running small businesses. That is why the first conversation is about how your business runs, not about what software you would like.

Where we work

A farm on the N1. Clients across South Africa.

We work from a plot outside Louis Trichardt, on the N1 — the road most of this country’s freight actually moves on. Being outside the big cities is most of the point. The businesses we build for are in the same places: hire yards, farms, workshops and depots where the connection is patchy and the software still has to work anyway.

Discovery happens on site wherever it needs to. Everything after that runs remotely, which keeps costs where they should be — in the build, not in travel.

  • On-site discovery anywhere in South Africa
  • Remote delivery for build, support and training
  • SAST business hours — same time zone, same working week
  • One business day response to every enquiry

Next step

Let's talk about what you are actually trying to fix.

No pitch deck, no obligation. Thirty minutes on the phone is usually enough to tell whether there is a project here worth doing.
